Walker Evans was a photographer back in the early 1930's. His photography was mainly of those who suffered during the depression. In 1941, Evans' photographs detailing his stay with three families in southern Alabama during the Great Depression were published as the book Let Us Now Praise Famous Men.

Annie Liebovitz is a photographer whose style is marked by a close collaboration between the photographer and the subject. when i looked at her photos i got the feeling that she is trying to bring fantasy to real life. this picture portrays that with the whole "Alice in Wonderland" theme.

Dorthea Lange was an influential documentary photographer and photojournalist , best known for her work during the Great Depression for the FSA. Lange's photographs humanized the tragic consequences of the Great Depression. This photo shows her compassion for her art along with the Photo's subjects.

Edward Curtis was a photographer back in the late 1800's until his death in the mid 1900's. His photography was based on old western American life, as well as Native American peoples. This photo shows the Native American Indians.
